GBOMB | Wrapping Up 2017

My blogging friend and planning soul sister Danica posts a GBOMB at the end of each month and year, and I’ve always loved it. I’ve been wanting to implement it for forever, and what better time than wrapping up 2017? GBOMB stands for Good, Bad, On My Brain, and I think it’s a great way to bring the whole month (or year) together. I’m planning on doing these monthly from now on, but don’t hold me to it 😉 So here we go, the GBOMB for 2017, although not super in depth because I am so ready to get past all of these 2017 posts!

GOOD

Eliza turned 2, Abe turned 3, Kyle turned 31, and I turned 28.

Kyle and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary.

We went on an amazing family vacation to Florida. (Read more here, here, here, and here.)

Kyle and I became serious about monthly date nights (without kids) and it’s been wonderful!

We found out we were expecting baby #3!

I made intentional goals this year, figured out the right ways (for me) to track them and motivate myself to progress, and I ended up making a ton of progress, and felt really good about all the things I accomplished.

BAD

3 months of awful morning sickness, which resulted in me doing nothing for those 3 months and all my awesome progress basically went down the drain. It was a terrible 3 months. But it’s over now so hooray!

ON MY BRAIN

Overall, 2017 was a great year, and I’m hoping to take the momentum I had (before I got sick) and pressing forward in making more progress in 2018, even if it’s just the tiniest bit (because, pregnant and have a newborn).
