This Time of Year

The last few weeks have been strange. Summer is slowly (oh-so-slowly) fading into Fall, schools are starting and the feeling of change is in the air. I spent the last week at my mom’s, taking care of my little sister (she’s 12) while my mom had surgery, and the week before that my sister was staying here with us. Those two weeks kind of knocked me off my routine, and I’ve been struggling to get back into it since returning home. Add to that the fact that I am just so blasted hot all the time, and well, you’ve got a pretty good recipe for no motivation.

I have so many plans for this little blog of mine. I have about 15 drafts just waiting to be finished and scheduled, and many more ideas lurking in my mind. I have a new blog design that is half-finished, and a new blog schedule I’m itching to follow as well. I’m in the process of purchasing a domain name, and, well, basically, I’m just full of big ideas.

I’m also almost 30 weeks pregnant, have a house to get in order, a 17 month old to raise, dinners to cook, and did I mention I’m so hot all the time? 🙂 Is it possible to be super motivated and not motivated at the same time? Because that’s how I feel right now.

I’m excited for all the changes happening in my life. I love my life. I really do. And as soon as it cools down 5 (or 10!) degrees, I’ll be excited to experience them along with you.

Thanks for reading, I sure love being able to put my thoughts and feelings into words, and I hope you enjoy reading them. I would still be a writer without any readers, but it wouldn’t be near as fun.
