What I Read June 2016

Happy 4th of July friends! I hope you have a great day celebrating our freedom and the great United States of America with your family and friends! We’re spending the day with all of Kyle’s family and having a great time! 🙂 Well, another month, another “What I Read” post. June was pretty much a bust for reading, but that’s ok! It doesn’t mean I’m not still a reader at heart. We’ll be traveling quite a bit this month (July) so I’m assuming I’ll get in quite a bit of reading time. We’re also going on a couple of road trips this month, so I’m planning on picking up a couple of audiobooks to listen to while we’re in the car. (Though I still think that listening to audiobooks shouldn’t count on any sort of reading challenge… But I digress.)

For The Glory by Duncan Hamilton

3 stars. See full review here.

Hopefully next month I’ll be back with more books 🙂 PS, did I ever mention that I’m working through all the books I own but haven’t read yet this year? Well, I am! So here are the books I have up next, and that I’m hoping to read by the end of the year:

Eleanor
The Sisterhood
Successful Moms of the Bible
Choose Joy
Fervent
Curious Faith
Decide Now
Then Sings My Soul
Lineage of Grace
Silence Breaks

Phew! I’m excited! And I’m excited to share with you more “What I Read” posts in the future. They’re some of my favorite posts to read – and read! So please tell me, have you read any of the above books? What did you think of them? I’d love to know! Leave me a comment below, or leave me a link to your own blog post about what you’ve been reading! I’m always looking for more books to read (even though I have over 1200 on my to-read list on goodreads…. Oops!) so give me all your recommendations 🙂 (PS, find me on goodreads here.) Can’t wait to hear from you!
