What I Read

I can’t say goodbye to 2017 without sharing my favorite books that I read during the past year. It’s a lot of fun for me to go back through my Goodreads account and my blog posts, to remember what books I read! I read so many books during the year that sometimes I forget about some of them. In general, the best of them stay with me, but sometimes I need a refresher on some of them, or need help remembering that I did read it this year and not in 2016, 2015, etc. I hope you enjoy reading this post, and that you get some new ideas of books to read in 2018!

Best General Fiction

The Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling (I suppose this could go under Fantasy/Sci-Fi, but these books are so much more to me.)

The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel

Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult

Best Thriller

The Secrets on Chicory Lane by Raymond Benson

Final Girls by Riley Sager

The Marriage Pact by Michelle Richmond

Emma In The Night by Wendy Walker

Best Fantasy/Sci-Fi

City of Miracles by Robert Jackson Bennett

Sleeping Giants & Waking Gods by Sylvain Neuvel

Best Historical Fiction

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

Best Faith-Based and/or Self-Help

Put the Disciple Into Discipline by Erin MacPherson
