Air Show 2014

A few weekends ago there was an air show at the Fairchild Air Force Base just outside Spokane. It’s about a 45 minutes drive from where we live, and since we missed the Thunderbirds a couple of years ago at Hill Air Force Base
(we were in town, but it was dreadful weather!), we decided to go for it!

We got there right before the Thunderbirds started. They were really fun to watch, although it went a little long for me. There are only so many cool tricks they can do before they start repeating themselves. Nevertheless, what they do is very cool, and I’m glad
we were able to see them!
And Abe was so great and slept through the whole thing.

Afterwards we walked around to see some of the smaller planes.
It was a really nice day, and we had a great time together.
I’d recommend going to an air show if you get the chance – it’s very neat to see the planes and I love supporting our troops
and finding out more about them.

{PS, wish us luck as we drive from northern Idaho down to Utah this weekend! Hope our babe cooperates and the trip goes smoothly 🙂
We are so excited for our families to meet Abe!}
