Family Fun, Friends Fun

Our oh-so-fun Utah Trip

The only bad thing about living away from family is just that – you live away – and you don’t get to see them often. It’s especially a bummer when you have a new baby you want to show off, or if you have nieces and nephews who are growing by leaps and bounds every day.
Luckily, Kyle and I were able to take a week and spend it down in Utah with our families. Kyle’s brother and his family drove up from California, and my dad and his partner flew in from Florida, so we had our whole family together. And it was wonderful.
We drove down on Saturday, June 28 and drove back on Sunday, July 6.
And in between we did pretty much every thing imaginable. But I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Best friend Emily cut my hair.
We got to visit Nadia and Savannah – after a day at the lake so don’t just my appearance 😉
Had a friends night with Cami, Bud, Tyler, Alishia and their boys.
Dad bought Abe lots of cute clothes, including this matching outfit!
Visited Temple Square with Dad and Steven on the 4th.
Family picture with Dad and Steven.
Me with my nieces Claire and Avery, and nephew Logan. Love them!
Visited Grandma Hanson in Price so she could meet Abe.
Not pictures activities included:
a trip to the remodeled Monte L. Bean museum on BYU campus,
a family reunion dinner with Kyle’s mom’s side of the family,
celebrating our twin nephews Luke and Logan’s birthday,
and
multiple family excursions and dinners.
While we were there we also blessed Abe, and had family pictures taken, so look forward to those in a couple of posts coming soon!
