hanson family 2014 review
Well, it’s that time of year again, when you look backward to remember the good and the lessons learned, and look forward with renewed optimism. 2014 was a great year for our little family. Abe joined our family, and we have loved every minute of it. We were able to take 3 trips to Utah, and spent many hours outdoors together as a family. I loved 2014, and am a bit sad to see it go, but I also so excited to see what new adventures 2015 brings.
In January I spent a week in Utah, spending time with friends and families as they threw baby showers for me and baby Abe.
In February Kyle interviewed for and received a new position at work. We also took our birth classes at the hospital.
In March, Kyle spent a week in Boston for training for his new position, and less than a week after he returned, Abe made a surprise entrance into the world 3 weeks early. And just 5 days after that, Kyle turned 28.
In April, my mom and sister came to visit, we got used to having a newborn in the house, and Evan and Holly came to visit.
In May, we celebrated our 4th anniversary, Kyle took me to see Wicked when it came to Spokane, I got to celebrate my first Mother’s Day, we went to the Air Show, and officially “recovered” from my c-section.
In June, I took a leap and started this little blog of mine. June is also when I decided to stop breastfeeding.
In July, we took a trip down to Utah to spend time with our families and bless Abe. We took family pictures
In August we took Abe camping for the first time, we took Abe to his first baseball game, and I turned 25.
In September, we took a week long camping trip up to Priest Lake with Kyle’s mom and dad,
In October we took a trip to the pumpkin patch, and celebrated Abe’s first Halloween by dressing him up as a cow.
In November we celebrated a quiet Thanksgiving together.
In December we spent a lovely two weeks in Utah, visiting family and celebrating Christmas.
Like I said before, we had a great year, surrounded by friends and family and the great outdoors 🙂 I’m so grateful for all that we were able to do this year! I hope you had a great year, too! I’ve really been enjoying all your reviews on your blogs! And now — on to 2015!
