SEO Workbook For Beginners

Mommy My Way is a new-to-me blog that I am quickly falling in love with. Nikki is a single mom who blogs about motherhood, blogging, and other career advice, among many other topics. Nikki has recently published 2 SEO workbooks for bloggers, and offered to send me her SEO For Beginners to use and review, and I have to say, I loved it.

Let’s be honest. SEO (or Search Engine Optimization) is a tricky subject to understand. Yet it is so, so important for us bloggers! A basic explanation of SEO? It’s the process of making your website show up on search engines (think Google, Yahoo, etc.). So, say you published a blog post about breastfeeding – if you are able to use SEO to your greatest ability, it should help your site pop up when someone searches for articles relating to breastfeeding, which is something we should all want as it helps drive traffic to our site.

Even if you’ve been blogging a long time, it’s hard to know just how to achieve the maximum SEO available for your post. If you’re on WordPress, there’s a great plugin called Yoast SEO that you should be using, that helps run you through a few steps to have great SEO for your posts. But, sometimes you don’t know why you’re doing what you’re doing.

That’s where Nikki’s workbook comes into play. It takes you step-by-step through getting your blog post ready to publish with the greatest SEO possible, and it tells you just why you’re taking those steps. It’s something that is invaluable to bloggers that want to up their SEO game, or just their blogging game in general.

Right now she’s offering the workbook for only $5, which is a steal. She also has an SEO intermediate workbook available that talks about backlinks, if that’s something that you want to work on, too!

I highly recommend that you hop on over to Nikki’s site and pick up either or both of her workbooks. You won’t regret it. And neither will your blog.
