I thought I’d pop in with a quick currently post, just to share a few things with you. My posting has been far and between, and less than predictable this pregnancy, so this is a fun and easy way to get up at least one post this week! Let me know what you’re currently up to in the comments!

FEELING | excited for this baby to get here! I am so excited for baby snuggles, to know if it’s a boy or a girl, to not be pregnant any more, and to feel like myself again. I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been feeling pretty down and apathetic during this pregnancy, and I’m crossing my fingers for an easy transition from pregnancy to postpartum, with limited baby blues, so I can feel like myself again and be a bit happier in all my doings, and really cherish my life and family again.

EATING | nothing and everything. I’ve been going through phases when I am starving and eat everything in sight, but other times nothing sounds good and I don’t eat all day. Not super healthy, but it is what it is. Thanks, pregnancy. When I do eat I’m a big fan of all things fast foot and chocolate so, I mean, what’s new?

READING | Anatomy of a Miracle by Jonathan Miles. It’s my last Blogging for Books book (they’re closing down) and I’ve really been enjoying it. I’m not quite halfway through yet, as it’s long and kind of intensive, but the premise is fascinating and I’m excited to see what happens and where they go with it. It’s written as a true story, in journalistic form, and is about a man who has been home from Afghanistan, paralyzed, for 4 years, and then inexplicably starts walking again. Was it a miracle? A medical breakthrough? What happens to the subject and all those all around him when he becomes a symbol of hope and miracles? Interesting, right? I’ll be sure to review it fully in my next monthly book review post once I finish it!

WEARING | sweats and t-shirts, most of the time! I’m to the point in pregnancy (almost 35 weeks!) where I am just large and uncomfortable most of the time. I found these bralettes at Costco that I have been wearing constantly, since even my maternity/nursing bra without underwire hurts my ribs after an hour or two. I’m looking forward to my boobs and waistline both shrinking soon!

LOVING | our new minivan. It’s been a lot of fun to get used to driving it, and to figure out how to use all the cool technology that came with it (did I mention it’s Bluetooth capable so I can sync my phone??). It’s pretty awesome, and we all love it.

So there you go, just a few things about my life right now. Hopefully next week I can get up Abe’s 4 year old update, as well as a 35 week pregnancy update, too! 🙂
