Hair, Hair, Hair | Part III

I’ve talked about my hair before here and here. If you don’t remember, I suffer from dandruff, and have for pretty much my whole life. As such, I don’t try out new shampoos and conditioners as often as I would like, because I generally have to use a medicated shampoo to keep the worst of the flakes at bay. However, when HASK offered to send me their Macadamia Oil shampoo and conditioner to try, I couldn’t say no! I’ve heard good things about this brand, and was excited to try them out!

HASK

One thing I really like about HASK is that they are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors. I’m all about that! I also though that because it was so natural, it might help with my, er, hair condition.

And it did! At least, it didn’t create more dandruff, which is always a win in my book. Since this is the moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, I was expecting my hair to feel extra soft and moisturized. However, I was kind of disappointed that I didn’t feel a huge difference after my hair was dried and styled. It felt pretty similar to how my hair felt before I used it. I do plan on using it a few more times though, to see if it just needs a couple more washes to work.

HASK also has products made of Argan Oil, Keratin Protein, Coconut Oil, and Almond Oil, which I’m sure are all fabulous. I actually want to try their styling products, too. And one last thing I really enjoy about their products? They’re available at major retailers like Target, Walmart, etc., AND they’re so affordable! Even though the shampoo and conditioner didn’t work “magic” like I thought they would, I still really enjoyed using them and would recommend them!

Have you used HASK products before? What did you think?

This post was powered by Brandbacker. I received free product from HASK in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
